Pretty good information on listing as places.  Toward the end of the article is a listing of numerous sites worth checking to see it you are listed and more importantly, if you are listed correctly.  I found that some sites show my new store is a block away from its actual location.

I use as few words as I can in search engines, keeping in mind that some search efforts must be more complex.  The guidance in this article is a good starting point for all searches.

Google Instant Search

This is something we need to watch since it basically changes the wat folks use Google search.

This week Google rolled out Instant Search, a revolutionary AJAX-based technology that dynamically updates the search results page as users type in each character of their queries. Instant Search changes the fundamentals of how a user will search on Google. The introduction of Instant Search means that ecommerce site owners should be on high alert over the next several weeks to monitor their analytics and ad campaigns for changes in user behavior, click patterns, and search terms.
